Book Review – More by Todd Wilson

We all want it, and we all have some form of calling on our life.

Everyone’s calling looks a bit different, and it is important that we evaluate how we are currently pursuing the calling that God has placed on our life.

In his book More, Todd Wilson unpacks how to identify your personal calling in life and how you can begin (if you are not currently doing so) pursuing your calling.

Be –>Do –> Go¬†

This was the overwhelming theme of the book so it is no surprise that it stuck out to me the most. The first section of this theme is to make disciples that make disciples. The second section of this theme is our calling. This is the will that God has created you to fulfill.

We are responsible for answering and identifying the answers to these three questions in pursuit of God’s calling on our lives:

  • Who am I created to be?
  • What am I created to do?
  • Where am I to be best positioned to do it?

When we answer those questions, we find the Be-Do-Go theme of a person’s life. Wilson’s book gives readers an opportunity to engage in the journey that God has them on.

My Review

This is a scary word. This is an exciting word. This is an overwhelming word. This is a confusing word. The word calling carries with it so many different feelings and emotions.

The book is an exercise book. It is a book filled with tools for valuation. It is inspiring and convicting. The book will help you.

Whether you are searching for your calling, trying to fulfill your calling, or you are just learning more about calling in general; you should pick up a copy of the book More by Todd Wilson.
