Free ebook: Student Leaders are Church Leaders

My friends over at “Leader Treks” have provided a great free resource for you. It is an e-book entitled, “Student Leaders are Church Leaders.” It provides great insight on students being a part of the local church! This is something that we all struggle with, but is something that we must actively be pursuing. The book is written by Doug Franklin.

About the Ebook: Doug Franklin will help you understand the theory of student leadership while giving you practical steps you can take to give your students ownership of the ministry. Whether you have a student leadership program or you want to start one, this book will help your students lead now.

About Leader Treks: LeaderTreks is a student leadership development ministry using trips, innovative training, and curriculum to help students identify and develop their personal leadership skills. LeaderTreks is calling the church to make leadership development a core of youth ministry. Much like discipleship and evangelism, we feel leadership development is key to seeing the church grow and the culture change.

It’s our belief that the church is one generation away from a leadership void and if we don’t intentionally develop leaders, the church will struggle. To that end, we developed the LeaderTreks model for leadership development. We apply this model to missions, wilderness, adventure, and leadership training trips because we see the impact these types of trips have on students. We also develop curriculum to help youth pastors in the development process of students.
