I just finished the book “Weird” by Craig Groeschel. I have never read anything from Craig Groeschel, but after finishing this book, I want to go out and read everything that he has ever written! That is how good this book is. This is a MUST READ! Order your copy here.
I want to give you a few reasons why you need to read this book:
- This will challenge you in your commitment to Christ– Craig is straight up weird! He is a strange guy for Jesus. He proves it with the devotion that he has for Jesus and for accomplishing His will. We all can improve our relationship with Christ, and Craig will challenge you to take the next step in your relationship with Christ.
- This book will challenge you in your marriage– Craig wrote several pages on marriage. I was blown away at the challenges that I received through this book. I called my wife into the other room, and gave her a few of the profound but truthful quotes mentioned in the book. This book will challenge you to focus on your marriage, and focus on your faithfulness to her above your ministry.
- This book will challenge you in your parenting– Once again, Craig wrote about parenting, and blew me away. I am the parent of a 11 month old baby girl, and I gleaned helpful practical principles that Craig gave me that he found in the Word on what to teach her and how to teach her. I mentioned several things to my wife about parenting from Craig’s perspective, and it really challenged the both of us.
Craig is an incredible story-teller, and he mentions many life stories from their family for us. It is written from a transparent perspective from a guy who has a heart for the Lord, and lives what he writes about!
