Last night, we had our first student takeover service of the new year! This is a service where we allow the students to run the show! I have been called one of the bravest people ever, because I give them liberty and allow them to run the service that night. It always ends up being the best night. I love seeing our students get up there and serve. The students were so awesome! They ran the media/sound/music/praise team/announcements/prayer time/and even preached. We have some banging teenagers, and I am privileged to have them in the Grove. We also have the best student leadership team that I could ever imagine. They give their all to serve the Grove, and they are dedicated and committed. If you do not have a student leadership team, you need to try and create one. I often fell into the excuse, we do not have a big youth group so why create one, but I think it is important and one of the ways to enhance growth in your student ministry.
